Virtual Working
Dp is working on his laptop, sitting on the floor, leaning against sofa. Suhani was sitting on Sofa and tapping/wiggling her both the hands fingers on his back. Me sitting on the other end of the sofa asked Suhani what she was doing, she turned her head towards me and gave me a serious look and said I am working like Nana. I did not understand why she said that. Out of curiosity, I leaned forwards and saw that there was a computer, keyboard and a mouse logo/picture on Dp’s T-shirt.

IAM Diwali nite 2007
IAM’s Diwali night was held at Ridgeway Middle School. Shivani and 7 her friends namely Keesha, Shorya, Amrutha, Radha, Swathi, Nithya, Shriya. Radha’s mom Neha got their outfits from Gujrat which were looking very nice. Archana Agrawal choreographed the song ‘ Barso Re’ from Guru. All kids were about the same age ranging from 5-6 years old. Everyone performed very well. Shivani had her smile all the time and shook her body well. Their pictures are at http://www.neelima.com/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=58.
Shivani does not move a lot to dance steps through out the practice, but she loves makeup, so she gets all excited about that and really performs good on stage. On a side note Suhani watches akka dance at practices and quickly learns all her steps, making me believe that she is ready for next year.

5 year plan for Education
Shivani my 5 year old goes to Kindergarten at Crosswind Elementary School. As you all know Elementary school has classes until 5th grade. So Shivani was telling me the other day that she is planning on working like me at Fedex after her 5th grade as there are no more grades to study. I only disappointed her saying after 5th grade, she needs to study at various schools for more than 12 years minimum. She was checking with me whether she has to do Kumon all these years until she graduates.
The other day Kumon folder was lying on the bed and DP asked Shivani to remove so he can fix the bed. She replied back, “Nana, throw it up in the sky so I do not have to do it anymore.” Poor girl she will still abide me and does her homework almost everyday.
I feel like I need to compile all these comments about Kumon and send it to her Kumon teacher.
