Suhani wanted to watch Dora while Shivani wanted Lilo and Stitch. So they came to me for a solution and I said “Ok, let’s play heads or tails and see who gets to watch their fav show first.” Both were excited as it was a new game. I felt proud that I found a solution for their problem. I showed them which side is heads and tails and asked them to pick a side. Now both started arguing again as that they both wanted heads. Solving my server issues were much easier than these.

BTW, when kids had their next argument, Shivani was holding a cent in her hand and asking her sis whether she wanted a “person’s head or a building” as she forgot ”heads or tails”.

As both girls wanted the same jacket , I asked them to take turns. Suhani asked me whose turn was that day and I said it was Shivu’s, and she added “Tomorrow is my turn?” I said “yes”. She asked me again “And then tomorrow is akka’s?” I said “Yes”. But she did not know how to say day after tomorrow or next day. So she stated “and then tomorrow is mine and then tomorrow is hers and then tomorrow is mine and then tomorrow is hers”.

This morning when kids were getting ready for school, Shivani was asking me to check whether her nostrils look clean and Suhani answered right back saying that it is dark and cannot see anything inside her nostrils.

Shivani is a car rider everyday, as we live close to the school with no bus facility. Sometimes I drop both the kids at their respective schools one after the other. I drop Shivani at the entrance of the school and she walks by herself to school, while I walk Suhani, my 3 yr old, to her class room. This morning Suhani was saying ”Amma, I wish you can drop me near the curb and I wish I could walk to my class all by myself.”

Few months back, somebody was asking Suhani, how old  she was and she replied back saying that she is 4 years old, so I and Shivani corrected her saying that she is 3 years old and she replied back saying ”No, I am 4 yrs old as Amma bought 4T clothes for me”. So next time when she wanted me to carry her, I said “Suhani you are 4 yrs old, I shouldn’t be carrying you”,but she replied back “but I still suck my fingers, so I am baby”.
