Dumbstruck
Shivani and Suhani are fascinated by the power windows in the vehicles. I usually lock them but they love to play when ever they get a chance and keep asking me to unlock. The other day I let them play for sometime and they wanted for some more time. I tried to explain them that the ‘affect of AC’ will be lost and the van will be warmer soon.
Next time when the weather was beautiful, while enjoying the music, I opened the windows as we entered our community, Suhani immediately said ‘AC will be lost’ then I replied “I switched off the AC as we not very far from home”. Then she said “But, what about the music? Won’t they be lost, I love ‘Happy Days’ songs, please close the windows”. I was dumbstruck.

Meanings of few words
Meanings of certain words from Suhani’s perspective.
The other day Suhani was saying “Amma, it is freezing hot” - As we say freezing cold she thought ‘Freezing’ means ‘Very’ so she used the same for hot.
Whenever we ask her why she did something, she simply says ‘because’ but never completes the sentence. We then have to explain her the word ’because’ is not a reason, she needs to tell a reason after ‘because’. She thinks the work ‘because’ itself is a reason.
I just remembered something with ‘beacause’. Say a sentence where ‘because’ comes three times succesively.
Answer is - A sentence cannot start with ‘because’ because ‘because’ is a prepostion.
